Hello!

My name is Maria, and I am an open-minded and curious person who loves exploring new cultures and meeting people from different backgrounds.

I like to live a healthy lifestyle; doing sports (especially CrossFit) and eating and cooking healthy meals, to be in nature and to play music. I am also enthusiastic about trying out new things and developing new skills.

I studied a university degree in architecture and a higher degree in carpentry. I also have experience in customer service, working with children, but more than anything, I bring a positive attitude and a strong commitment to any task I take on.

What I love most about traveling is the opportunity to immerse myself in local life and share authentic moments with the people who welcome me. I believe Workaway is a great way to exchange knowledge, grow personally, and contribute meaningfully to different projects.

DIY & Crafts. I consider myself a creative and resourceful person. I love working with my hands and enjoy a wide range of manual projects, from drawing and painting to building and repairing things. I find great satisfaction in creating something from scratch and bringing ideas to life.

Respectful & Caring. I always strive to be mindful of my surroundings, whether it’s people, animals, or nature. I believe in treating everything and everyone with kindness and respect. I enjoy helping others, fostering a positive atmosphere, and making sure that the spaces I share are welcoming and harmonious.

Plants & Wellness. I have a deep appreciation for plants and the well-being they bring to our lives. I enjoy taking care of them and have recently become interested in plant medicine and natural healing. Learning about the benefits of herbs and sustainable ways to nurture both body and mind is something I find truly fascinating.
