Description
Hi, my name is Magdalena. I am 22 years old and just graduated in Landscape Achitecture. I am a nature and mountain lover. I lived the past year half in Iceland and half in Austria, where I worked as ranger in a Nature Park. Originally I am from southern Germany, close to the Alps.
I want to spend some time in New Zealand, before I will continue studying. In my Bachelor´s program, I focused on Landscape Planning: I learned a lot about flora, flauna, climate change, landuse etc. My favourite ecosystem are alpine peatlands. Beside that, I also learned how to plan open spaces, such as gardens, places and city quarters. I want to use my time in NZ to help in ecological projects. I would love to learn as much as possible about the native flora and fauna. I like working outside and getting my hands dirty. I organized and helped with conservation projects for volunteers in a Nature Park in Austria and enjoyed it so much.
I would describe me as a very motivated, ambitous, reliable and open-minded person. In my freetime, I enjoy the outdoors while climbing, mountaineering, skitouring, playing football, yoga and so on - the list is long, especially because I love to try new things.
That´s why I also wanna try workaway!
