Hallo, Kia Ora, Kon´nichiwa, Bonjour, Xin Chao, ni hao,

I´m an open minded soul from southern Germany who wants to explore the world with all of its colours.

Since I was little other countries and cultures are absolutely fascinating to me. I wondered how their daily life looks like, what stories other cultures tell each other and how their world view differs from my own one. I tend to explore nearly everything that is kind of foreign such as music genres, languages, art, fashion and food of cause. Unfortunately the pandemic did hold me back from starting my travels which eventually motivated me even more for starting to reach other horizons ;)

Besides that I´m really into the idea of meeting people in an authentic way while helping with my own skills. As I highly appreciate open-mindedness, sharing kindness & ideas, learning more and growing trough new won experiences I would like to give something back for having the chance to travel in such a unique and enriching way.
As a creative, nature and human loving person who´s going to be an Occupational Therapist soon, I´m aware of the great opportunity of connecting on a deeper level while being active. Luckily I could already make awesome experiences in Japan and New Zealand which I am so thankful for. It was amazing to help in fields I have never worked in so that I won both new friends and handy skills. But the best out of those encounters were always the multicultural learning chances in between open minded humans which created an interesting warm hearted net of growth between new gained friends ;D

That is why I´d like to gain new experiences, collect storys and listen to the sound of this unique globe ;)

More details about my language interests
As a German I´d like to share my knowledge about my language and the culture. If you´re interested in learning even some words I´d always be open for some advice and can imagine to teach others speaking in my mother tongue ;)I absolutely want to improve my english so that it becomes more fluent. My big goal is to be able to talk with any english speaking person in a natural and authentic way.Because of my passion for the Asian world and especially for the chinese language I´d love to learn a lot about it. Even though I´m an absolute beginner I´m totally motivated to train myself in chinese communication skills! All in all I´m open to any lesson in every language. In my view the language is an expression of culture and a key to the people of it. Even the local sign language would absolutely be in my field of interest!

In general I´m open to any new challenge and could already experience a great growth while learning new skills especially while travelling. Being flexible and interested while trying to do rather quality work instead of quantity would describe myself pretty well. I appreciate working in a team with open communication and the intention to understand how and why things run like they do ;)

My biggest passion is everything connected to the arts. I´m an absolute passionate painter, do handicraft and have some basic abilities in sewing. In fact I like working with every material and can handle easier challenges with wood or clay. If you search someone to create something new with a bunch of ideas and a big amount of endurance I could help you for sure!

In addition to that I was able to collect many experiences with disabled and handicaped people during the last years. I like working with both children and older people. I´ve got experiences in supporting them to master their daily life and I really do enjoy enabling someone with new ideas. Being in contact with a lot of people and starting a conversation is no big deal for me. I could also regularly train my abilities in explaining things to people and to teach them (Occupational Therapy) step by step. Learning together is great and makes both worlds so much richer.

Besides that I´m also interested in caring for animals, helping with gardening, farming or keeping something clean and tidy. I once had rabbits and took lessons at a riding stable. Being outside and getting dirty is also no problem for me. Especially in New Zealand I could care for a bunch of diverse animals and gained both muscle power and knowledge how to care for new born calves and how things work at a farm. Cruising over the peddocks on a Kwad in every weather condition, doing wood chopping and hunting while camping for months in the winter of the South island NZ toughened me up quite a bit.

I also enjoy cooking for loved ones and was once a waiter in a coffee. Even though I´m not the fastest cooker, but I do it with my heart :) The interest in others was also well seen when I could help a friend caring for travellers in his hostel in Osaka for a while.

I am sure that I can be a helping hand with many things for sure. I would like to dive into your world and learn how you live your daily rhythm. All in all I gained beautiful and enriching knowledge in these workaways:

- helping a japanese-US-family restoring their traditional wooden house & spending a good time with them all (cooking, weeding, childcare, cleaning)
- volunteering at a Diary farm in northern New Zealand (milking, Wood-Work, drawing oil-painting etc., cooking, cleaning, restoring cottage, caring for dogs & cats, helping with their food-truck)
- helping out an artist friend at his community vernissage, cooking, tidying, weeding

Additional skills:
- working as a calf rearer in New Zealand
- helping out in a Coffee & hostel
- working as an Occupational Therapist
- volunteering in an institution for disabled people
- multiple internships in kindergartens & primary schools (Reggio & Montessori pedagogy)

What else ...

As a member of a bigger family I enjoy being in companionship with other people a lot. I am often amazed by the uniqueness of us humans and love listening to storys all over the world. The encounters on my travels so far made the way even more colourful and I am looking forward to philosophy about things on my path ahead.

But as a more calmer person I also try to keep everything in balance. (like the eastern philosophy of Daodejing ;) So I regularly go for a walk, do my jogging rounds or expose myself to nature while going for hikes. I´d like to learn more about meditation, yoga, Tai Qi etc. as more awareness in life feels healthy and enriching for both myself and my surroundings.

Like I mentioned before art in general is my thing. Especially listening to music, being on concerts or dancing a bit on my own is pure joy for me. Unfortunately I can´t play any instrument but I definitely like feeling the flow while being surrounded by good sounds. My favourite genre is Rock and metal but there´s so much good stuff in any corner of the world! For example I experienced Vietnamese music when I was travelling there months before and fell in love with their diverse spectrum of instruments and sounds. There´s always something to explore ;D
