Description

Hi! we’re Lucas & Nathan from France. We’ll be travelling through Nepal and Southeast Asia (Thailand, Laos) for a few months starting November 2025, and we love taking the time to really discover a place. We’re both 24, have driving licences (for motorcycles) and enjoy living in community.

We’ve already done volunteering in Nepal (with Chhime) and Lucas also helped at a permaculture hydroponic farm near Kathmandu, so we’re comfortable with hands-on farm work, animal care and the exchange-style life. We’re huge animal lovers (cats & dogs back home). Lucas cared for his sick dog for five years, so patience and responsibility come naturally.

Nathan is a cook based in Paris and a keen photographer; Lucas has bartending experience, organizes medium-sized events and is part of an electronic music collective. We both studied communication, and we really enjoy social media / content creation and helping with online presence or guest-facing tasks.

Available right now for December and happy to stay about 3–4 weeks (flexible). We’d love to join a friendly, active place where we can help, learn and meet people. Reach out if you think we’d be a fit!

We love working outdoors and in natural environments. We’ve worked on self-sufficient farms where we tended vegetable gardens and cared for animals, and we know how to use and maintain common garden tools. We also have permaculture experience (including helping on a hydroponic permaculture farm near Kathmandu) and are happy doing practical tasks like cutting grass, chopping wood, planting and general farm maintenance.
We’re reliable, enjoy a job well done and focus on hands-on work. Nathan is a cook and passionate photographer; Lucas has bartending experience and organises medium-sized events. We both studied communication, so we can help with guest assistance, social media and content creation.
We love community life, playing music, meeting people, sharing convivial moments and learning from everyone we meet !
