Hi
We are Oscar and Lova!
We have been together for almost 3 years and have now decided to do the trip of our lives! And we are excited to do workaway in Peru and Patagonia since we are passionate about helping others and immersing ourselfs in different cultures and being outdoors, so we believe that Peru is the perfect place our next journey.
Recently, I (Oscar) spent three months in New Zealand, where I a partly helped out on my friend’s grandparents’ avocado and kiwi farm. During that time, I also had the opportunity to explore the beautiful surroundings and connect with the local community. It was an incredibly enriching experience that deepened my appreciation for nature, people, and different ways of life. Since I came back home I have worked as a security guard at a vital installation. Where I´ve learned to work with different people under pressured and sometimes hard circumstances.
I (Lova) completed my 1 year long military service in Sweden in late June, where I served as a medical squad leader in the Airforce. Before that, I spent four months working as an au pair in Spain, taking care of two children aged 6 and 10. Most recently, at the end of July this year, I did a Workaway experience at a family-run vineyard near Lake Garda in Italy ( on my friends workaway account that's why it doesn't shows up here). I helped out in the vineyards and around the property, and it was an incredibly rewarding and educational experience. I’m a cheerful and positive person who loves spending time outdoors, especially in nature with my family’s two dogs.
We both love hiking and being in nature, and we are always drawn to landscapes that tell a story. Peru and Patagonia with its breathtaking mountains, rich cultural heritage, and deep history, feels like the perfect match for our interests. We are especially fascinated by the country’s indigenous traditions and historical landmarks, and we are eager to learn more about them through meaningful, hands-on experiences.
Above all, we care deeply about people. We believe that workaway is not just about giving – it's also about learning, sharing, and building connections that make a difference on both sides. We hope to contribute with a curious mind, new cultural perspectives and a strong willingness to help wherever we are needed.Interests

More details about your skills
Both of us have completed military service, which has given us a strong sense of discipline, responsibility, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as a team. We also have extensive experience in the hospitality and event industry, where we've developed strong service skills.
Our experience with children is broad: Lova has worked as an au pair in Spain, while Oscar has worked in a kindergarten with daycare. Lova speaks fluent Spanish, and Oscar is currently learning and very eager to improve during our time in South America
Earlier this year, Lova completed a successful Workaway stay in Italy, receiving excellent reviews. There, she also worked on a vineyard and learned a lot about agricultural tasks. Oscar spent three months in New Zealand helping on a farm, where he gained valuable experience in general maintenance and gardening.
Back in Sweden, we both enjoy helping out with basic carpentry and outdoor work—painting, fixing fences, replacing facades, and small repairs. We are not afraid to get our hands dirty and are happy to contribute wherever help is needed.
We are both curious, hard-working, and passionate about learning more about the culture, people, and history. We are especially drawn to volunteer projects that support local communities, environmental sustainability, and animal care.Age
