My name is Lois, I'm a free spirited traveller who is from the UK. Who has experienced work and travel in other areas of the world - Canada, US, Mexico, Central America, Asia, New Zealand and Africa 🇰🇪 😁

My passions in life are supporting creativity, empowerment and social justice. In England I work as an Occupational Therapist this means rehabilitating others with physical and mental disabilities to live their life their way. In addition to, whilst travelling working in tourism and guest services, housekeeping, teaching, childcare and gardening. Therefore I am capable at helping out with whatever it is you need me to do with a positive mind and happy attitude 😊

I enjoy exploring alternative beliefs through exploring different cultures, rituals and practices. Therefore, I would welcome the opportunity to learn more about Nepali culture.

Healthcare:
Health education and promotion to keep children, adults and communities healthy.

Activity activation and adaptation:
Motivating others and making activities accessible to support growth and inclusion in a positive way. This involves knowledge of adapting activities to support others with mental or physical disabilities.

Education:
Running individual and group education sessions - staying healthy, emotional regulation and life skills. Also, instructing activites such as art, performance and outdoor pursuits when working at a summer camp.

Childcare:
Formally I have been responsible for ensuring the wellbeing of 12 young girls age 13 for two summers at camp.

Hospitallity and tourism:
I have formal tourism and service qualifications and have worked multiple roles in passenger transport, hospitality and guest relations. Including a hostess for bear and whale safaris in Canada, a tourism rep and custoner care in Europe and a mountain hostess in New Zealand.

Gardening, permaculture, animal care and horticulture:
I have had some experience throughout my time travelling Costa Rica and New Zealand using WOOF platform however I feel I have much to learn on this topic, however I am great at following instructions and always keen to learn.
