  • Description

Firstly, as a future nurse, I am motivated for activities that involve helping people in any of the fields required, since agriculture, teaching, hospitality or just being part of a community. Developing any of these tasks and making a meaningful impact on the lives of others brings me a sense of purpose and fulfillment.

Happiness can be defined in many diverse ways, but for me, what makes me happy is meeting new people, learning about different cultures, playing basketball, or just reading a book.

More details about my language interests
I was born in Spain, Barcelona, and I can speak three languages. Spanish and Catalan are my native languages, so I am completely fluent in them, and I would love to teach anyone who has any interest in them. English is my third language, I have been learning English since I was little, and thanks to different experiences, I have had the chance to improve it. I have a lot to improve and learn, but my level allows me to teach a basic level of it and also I would love to keep learning it.

In my few years of life, I have gone through different jobs or volunteering activities where I have extracted and gained knowledge.

My first job was in Australia, working as a waiter in a restaurant. Taking that position offered me the possibility of learning the importance of being patient, and grateful and the most important lesson taught me how helpful and easy can be work done with good teamwork.

After this beautiful experience, I decided to enroll in a volunteering week program where we were able to experience during 7 days what volunteering felt like. We did several activities to help the biggest amount of people in just a week. We went to a tomato field, picking up and organizing their distribution. In addition, we went to residential care, taking care of people who might need our help, and trying to spend an enjoyable time with the elderly. Other tasks were done during this volunteering week, but these two are the more remarkable ones.

After the mentioned activities, I decided to start university, specifically nursing. This may not be seen as an experience but honestly, I am being tested in all the fields. Commitment, responsibility, and respect are the 3 values of my University, and all the knowledge is taught based on these values.

Overall, I know that I have been through countable experiences and I am far to be an expert in volunteering. But, I would love to keep learning priceless values to try to be part of a healthy and useful community.
