Kia ora! I am planning to head to Central/South America early next year (2024) to experience the beauty of the Latino culture and make some awesome memories along the way. As a solo traveller from NZ, I would love to make some cool connections with other travellers and hosts. I love hiking, meeting new people, trying different foods and learning about different cultures.

I have worked in many different industries (education, mental health, marketing, charity, nannying) so I have learnt a lot of different and useful skills along the way. I am very hardworking and pick up new things quickly. My positive attitude and humour make my work a lot more enjoyable.

In New Zealand I work as an English Teacher at a high school so am definitely keen to share my love for language. I have also studied Spanish and think it is the most beautiful language- one that I look forward to improving in Latin America.

Previously, I worked with youth in the community so I have a lot of experience around children and teenagers and enjoy playing games and making people laugh.

Before teaching, I was an online sales coordinator and social media manager for a boutique company. I am quite confident with online systems - and if I am not, I pick it up quite quickly!

I love giving anything a go and always bring a positive attitude to any situation.

What else ...

A good hike is one of the best ways to spend a day and I would love to find a place that has beautiful hiking opportunities.

I also love reading, playing cards and boardgames (500 and Articulate are my favourites).
