Description
Hail and well met! :) I am a newly-minted tricenarian (person in her 30s) and I am currently in the midst of a career shift and looking to do some travelling and volunteering again to find connections with other like-minded practitioners, learn new skills and generally find joy in connecting with others and the natural world!
The career shift I am working on is to become a nature-connected, creative youth worker, as I have been working in various youth work roles for 5+ years now, but my heart is telling me that I need to focus on helping the young folks I am working with to get outside, learn how to find deep connection with nature, and through this deep connection with themselves and with their own unique forms of creative self-expression.
To this end I am looking for volunteering that will allow me to develop further land-based and traditional arts & craft skills that I can then hopefully go on to share with others in the future! And of course volunteering that would allow me to explore more beautiful, natural corners of the world and increase my own nature-connectedness in the process. :)

I have a fair amount of organic farm and permaculture garden work experience under my belt from growing up on an organic farm and working/volunteering on several market gardens/permaculture gardens as an adult. I have been working as a youth worker in schools and communities for the past 5 years, and also (most recently) as a Forest School practitioner. I love working and playing with young people, and giving them opportunities to connect with nature and grow their love and understanding of the natural world! I also love to make art and crafts, especially collaboratively/using natural materials, and I absolutely adore singing with others too!
