A gem frozen in time! I had an amazing time staying with Hope, Phil and Fish! Enjoyable outdoor work, great food, welcoming. I loved learning the history of the cottage and the island was very interesting they were both happy to share their knowledge. Highly recommend truly a once in a lifetime experience. Liam is the ideal Workawayer -- great to have around, hardworking, skilled, and eager to enjoy what our property has to offer. In addition to helping complete the big cleanup after a winter ice storm that left the grounds covered in branches, he did some needed plumbing fixes and carpentry jobs, split firewood, and anything else we asked. Great first workaway experience!
I stayed with Henry and Sue for 9 days as my first workaway. They were both very welcoming and accommodating. Nice verity of work, fueled by Sue's amazing cooking and Henry's cookie stach! always followed by a game. Highly recommend:)
