Description
I‘ll finish school last year. After all this time of studying and spending my time always at the same places I‘m longing for something new. I‘d like to explore the world, to get to know other cultures and its people. Now it's time to get to know the EU. That's why I'm going on an interrail trip in May: Prague - Bratislava - Venice - Nice - Strasbourg - Den Haag. If you like to meet up or travel together text me!! :D I really like beeing in nature and especially the wild, rough and untouched nature of the north fascinates me (Norway in first place :). I‘m not a couch potato - quite the opposite, some of my hobbys are jogging, hiking, swimming and if there‘s some snow in winter also cross country and alpine skiing. Further I‘m very passionated about chemistry. Another important fact to know about me is that I commit myself to an educational establishment for youth. There I‘m part of a participation project for young people. In the project a group of young people rebuilds the outdoor installations of the establishment sustainable and fully accessible and creates a area for guests of the house, where you can come together, do some sports, sit and grill or just enjoy nature and rest.

I’m part of a participation project for youth. In the project a group of young people rebuilds the outdoor installations of an educational establishment sustainable and fully accessible and creates a area for the guests of the house, where you can come together, do some sports, sit and grill or just enjoy nature and rest. The work includes crafting, gardening, woodwork, driving a small tractor, building up elements for spiritual and pedagogical excercises, developing an educational trail about environmental protection, team leading (I’m not only a volunteer, but leader and organizer), organizing and planning the whole project and single working camps, coordination of the volunteers (most of them are underaged), fundraising (our project is based on donations) and social-media-management for advertising. There also often volunteers from abroad helping. So I‘m used to work intercultural.
I was teached how to do spiritual exercises for young people at this religious and educational establishment for youth, too.
I also gained some experience in team leading at school: I was a mentor for younger pupils, teached single students and helped them with subject matter, if they had some difficulties.
In my position as a headgirl I learned some things about organization and communication with the different members of the school family.
In June I’ll have received my Abitur. It’s the highest educational level at schools in Germany.
While the last years I developed a strong interest in chemistry. So I visited three elementary lessons in chemistry at university while I was still at school. I also took part in competitions, for exampel the International Chemistry Olympiade.
Further I had a job at the check-out in a grocery store for one year and I also know how to deal with children because I had a job as a babysitter and I‘ve two younger sisters.Age

I had a very good time there. I spend a lot of time in nature (which is so beautiful!) during work and the task were fair and even fun with the animals.
Sandra and Håvard are very friendly and open minded people, often busy, but they generously share their home and the guest room is very cosy.
Communication was good, it was… read more
