Description

Dear Hosts and fellow Workawayers: I'm Lennard, 33, from Berlin, Germany, and would describe myself as easy-going, open-minded and curious.
I'm a travel enthusiast and just love to dive deep into different cultures, meet interesting people from around the world and experience life to the fullest.
So far I Work-and-Travel'ed in Australia, studied Export-Management in Austria and Marketing in Spain, did volunteer work in Nicaragua and had several jobs in the four most vibrant cities in Germany.
At the moment I'm in the process of closing my latest life chapter and already quit my job as well as my apartment. I am planning to travel to Latin America for several months, starting in February in Brazil and then making my way southwards. I miss the freedom and adventure and the pure joy of doing new things and making new experiences every single day.

In my free-time I love to cook, ride my bike, hitting the gym or dance on a good Techno rave.

I used to work for 3 years as a General Manager in a 300+ rooms hostel in Germany's second biggest city, Hamburg, located right on its (in)famous Reeperbahn. Therefore I'm experienced in hospitality, including reception-, kitchen-, housekeeping- and management tasks as well as handling stressfull situations. I love to be a good host and interact with guests and customers. I also supervised different supermarkets as a Regional Sales Manager for one of Europes biggest supermarket chains.
Furthermore I worked a lot of different (part-time/short-term) jobs in my life, including gardening, factory work, waiting tables, barkeeping, catering at events, hard physical labour, fruit picking, cashier work, web-development (JavaScript/HTML/CSS), delivery jobs and kitchen work including meal preparation.
In Nicaragua I volunteered for one year on an ecological agroforestry farm where I herded sheep, planted trees, harvested and processed fruits and crops, sold products on the local farmers market and did some educational work as well as event organisation.
Additionally me and my family used to have a lot of pets and I love to be around animals!
