Hey there,
we are Marieke and Leah. We are two very openhearted and openminded girls, who love traveling, geeting to know different people, and exploring nature.
We just graduated from Highschool this June and are now doing a gap year travelling thorugh australia. This is a really unique opportunity to immerse ourself in a new culture, meet people from various walks of life, and develop a global perspective. We are so grateful, that we are able to do this.
This experience has strengthened our independence so far and has also fueled our desire to continuously expand our horizons even more.
We love being active and doing all sorts of sport, like yoga, horse riding, running and swimming. We would love to improve my sailing and surfing skills. Besides sport, art and being creative in all kinds of way brings us a lot of joy.
We love to draw and paint and at home we have just started to try out sewing more and more. We both have a big interest in fashion.
In addition we both have a big heart for animals and love beeing spending time with them and taking care of them.
In general we consider ourselves to be very positive and enthusiastic people.

We are used to helping a lot in the household. This includes cleaning, washing, ironing, etc.. We really enjoy cooking and baking, constantlly trying new recipes with various ingredients and spices. We would love to cook special german dishes for you.
More over, we also love spending time in the garden and nurting plants and everything what comes with that. When we cook at home, we also love to use fresh ingredients and herbs directly from the garden.
As we mentioned in the profile description, we are both very good with animals. Leah has started horse riding when she was 5 years old, she has been trained in natural horsemanship and dressage and is able to take care of your horses.
Marieke also grew up with animals. So we both deeply care for them and love spending time with them.
We have been babysitting a two year old boy and a five year old girl together since we arrived in australia. We love doing creative things with them like drawing and doing crafts. We are very good in working as a team. Furthermore, we have started teaching the girl some German. Marieke has experience in tutoring children. She tutored children from first grade and from grade eight until ten in the subjects German, Biology and Math.
We both have experience in costumer service, as Marieke has worked in a Bakery and Leah has worked in a Restaurant.

One of our key strengths is our adaptability and eagerness to learn new things. Having a passion for trying out new experiences, we would love to help wherever you need us!
