Hello I'm Lauren,
I'm looking for a workaway in a happy surf hostel from oct/nov until dec/jan and potentially even longer (around 8 weeks). I would also be interesting in doing some environmental/sustainability/farm work.
I can can cook, bartend and make coffee to a high standard, having worked in all of these roles for the whole of my teens and 20's. I enjoy making things from scratch and am very happy to cook for large groups. I am well house trained, clean and tidy (genuinely) and can clean, cook,garden and do light handy work. I'm really the kind of person that likes to be proactive and gets stuck in to anything you've asked me to do, and naturally find myself wanting to create a nice vibe and ambiance wherever I am living. I have a lot of energy to give and like to have fun and keep the vibes good even while working.
I have a degree in Biology and a Masters in Perfusion Science, and currently work in a heart hospital in the UK. But I'd like to take a break live a simpler life and see where this takes me.
