Description
We're Laëtitia and Anaïs, two French sisters with Vietnamese roots. Our duo is as delightful as a banh mi: a fusion of cultures full of flavors that you'll remember!
Laëtitia has been working passionately for 6 years running field operations in an agricultural social enterprise supporting 6 million smallholder farmers across East Africa. Getting things done is her love language. She has lived for over a year on an off-grid, dry toilet, permaculture farm in Malawi, and now that she's back on the grid, she barely even notices the powercuts.
Anaïs is a software engineer in Paris. While powercuts are not part of her day-to-day life, she has traveled enough to adapt to any situation and can use her engineering mind to solve a lot of problems!
Our mum was born in Vietnam, which makes this trip very different from our other backpacking adventures. We'd love to immerse ourselves into the local culture, learn more basics of Vietnamese (for now most of our vocabulary is food-related!) and genuinely bond with our host and other people around.
We're easy-going, not afraid of hard work and always bring fun and positive energy. Hope we can meet soon!

Anais seria encantada de usar sus capacidades de ingeniera para solucionar a problemas, con su cerebro y sus manos.
Laetitia seria muy feliz de compartir su experiencia de la agricultura en Africa, por su trabajo con 100,000 campesinos en Malawi y tambien por su experiencia de vida en una finca de permacultura. Laetitia ya ha aprendido bastante sobre lo que significa la agricultura sostenible en teoria y mas importante en practica. Le encantaria intercambiar sobre esta tema! Aprender como cumplir con las necesidades sociales (producir demasiado de comida en un terreno limitado) y la proteccion del medio ambiente no es un sencillo interes sino una pasion que le anima cada dia!

Estamos buscando una oportunidad de ayudar en una finca o communidad sostenible idealmente en la region de Quindio o Cumbre en la primera parte de Marzo 2023. Queda poco tiempo, por eso seria genial de poder empezar a ofrecer nuestro apoyo :) muchas gracias!
