As a CELTA teacher I would like to offer my English teaching skills in exchange for learning Russian.
I have been on the move since November last year. During the past few months I worked as a carer helping disabled people in the UK in Somerset and Cornwall. Formerly I used to work in the Ministry of Agriculture in my home country. My main responsibility was to coordinate the nomination process of prospective GIAHS sites. It was an interesting job but I`ve decided to part with bureaucracy because ultimately my goal is to move into my village where with my friends we are busy reviving a more or less self-sufficient village community and the agricultural heritage of the region.
Ever since my adolescence I have been interested in the Russian language and I have wanted to explore the land and meet the people. A year ago after a long break I picked up Russian again and I am eager to improve it in a native environment. I am equally enthusiastic about teaching English. If you need an English teacher whether for children or adults I`d be more than happy to help anytime between April and January.
I am a great fan of folk music and I regularly play in dancing sessions and folk binges. My instruments are the bagpipe and the koboz – a traditional instrument of the Carpathians and the Balkan.
