Description
Hi! I'm Kim. I want to explore the world! I love meeting new people and immersing myself in different cultures. I really want authentic experiences that way.
In my day to day life I am currently finishing up my (second) Bachelors degree at university. I like dancing, climbing, working out, sewing, and doing other crafts. I am terrible at sitting still and doing nothing, I like keeping busy most of the time!
I am very fortunate to have travelled quite a bit, mostly around Europe. My parents love camping and own a motor home, which for me means I've been out and about since I was ten days(!) old. I just took my first solo trip (to Albania) and am now itching to explore even more! I absolutely love being in nature and being active.
I enjoy being amazed by the different cultures in the different places I visit, and like getting to know people from all over the world who love travelling as well.Interests

I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and am finishing up my bachelor's of Medicine! This means I have some first aid knowledge, as well as some knowledge on human behaviour. Apart from this, I've taken some courses on programming and photography, which I love doing.
I've been working as a care taker for a lady with multiple physical handicaps. This is quite a physical job, and very rewarding! Before this job, I worked for a volunteering website here in the Netherlands. I checked if all activity on the site was according to our rules and also contacted users. I learned how to work in a team setting, and how to communicate clearly with colleagues and consumers.
When I was a bit younger, I worked as an English tutor for three kids for a year. I have also worked in an ice cream shop, which mostly consisted of serving the costumers.
Eventhough this isn't an actual job I've had, I think it's important to note that I've been a member of a student association and have organised activities, from coming up with ideas to making sure everything goes smootly and cleaning up afterwards.
As far as volunteering goes: I have only volunteered at a gibbon sanctuary in rural Thailand for two weeks. This mostly meant I had to prepare all kinds of fruit and vegetables for the gibbons, feed them, and then clean the sanctuary. I also led a couple of tours around the sanctuary, which I found really fun!Age
