I’m a long-time volunteer who loves to learn new things and meet people. While my day job involves research and writing, I enjoy hands-on work and helping out where needed.

People have described me as friendly and outgoing, and I value kindness above all else. I am considerate and polite, and respect the places I am lucky enough to visit.

I’ve backpacked on and off since my early 20s and am an experienced solo traveller, having been to many countries around the world. Volunteering in an animal sanctuary in Thailand has been my favourite experience so far!

I enjoy gardening and fancy myself to be quite handy around the house (or at least I try…). Very clean and tidy, and weirdly also enjoy most housework.

I’ve volunteered in a number of animal sanctuaries, taking care of cats, dogs, pigs, cows, hens, ducks and even elephants!

I enjoy cooking and trying out new vegan/vegetarian dishes.

I grew up in the country so am comfortable outdoors but have spent the past ten years studying and working at universities so feel free to set me any admin or teaching tasks. I’m happy to look after and play with children too – my own darling nephew just turned five this year!

My hobbies include singing in choir, sewing, and I have *just* started woodworking classes.

I spent a week in Wicklow on Louise and Matt's property, and had a great stay. The accommodation was perfect, being a one-bedroom cabin with a kitchen, living space (which was used as a second bedroom for another Workawayer during my stay), and a bathroom with a shower that always had hot water.
