Hi!
My name is Kateřina, I'm 24 years old and I come from the Czech republic. I'm a student of the veterinary medicine but I plan to take one year off before completing my studies so I can travel the world a little bit. I am always excited about meeting new people, discovering different cultures and exploring new places.

I'm an adventurous type at heart, always seeking out new experiences in the great outdoors. Whether it's hiking through mountains, sleeping under the stars, or sitting by the fireplace surrounded by nature, I'm in my element when I'm exploring the countryside. I also love animals and I take a deep care in animal welfare.
I really enjoy bringing value to the others, therefore I can say, I'm a hard-working type. I'm really excited about this new workaway experience!

I would be happy to support some sustainability project, be a part of a community or help at an animal shelter or at a farm.

It's my dream to visit Southeast Asia, and get to know its nature, people, and culture. In the following three months I will be visiting the Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand.

I specialize in veterinary medicine and animal care, and I'm also comfortable with farm work. I worked as a laboratory technician and teaching assistant at my university. In my free time, I volunteer for a non-profit organization that represents animal rights, where I help plan local projects and manage our Facebook page.

I also have experience in other areas. During some summers, I worked as a part-time gardener and field worker. I also worked in the food service industry, with experience in a bar, tea, and coffee house. I've also worked in a supermarket, in the markets and done some administrative work in an office setting. I believe that my range of skills and experiences makes me adaptable to different types of Workaway jobs. I'm just happy to help with anything that needs to be done!
