Description

Kate has a deep love and an awe for nature. She's happiest in the outdoors and cares deeply about the environment and sustainability.
She's an introverted artist, whereas Hugo's more extroverted. She draws quirky characters, sweet creatures and beautiful landscapes.

She might be a quiet soul, but she's motivated by the ability to move her body and connect with nature. She has a drive to become stronger, learn more about our world and how to live peacefully. Practical work and using her hands is a strong motivator as it makes her feel like she's making a difference.

Hugo's got restless legs, energy and is keen to move around to be involved with whatever's being done. He loves getting his hands dirty, being in the sun and breaking a sweat.

He's motivated by a thirst for learning new things and a general optimistic outlook on life. He's very keen to be in touch with plants, gravel roads, the ocean or a few mountains on a daily basis.

They're working towards one day owning their own piece of land to live on harmoniously with nature in a sustainable way, and they'd love nothing more but to learn how to do so from you.

Currently their skills are mostly computer and art orientated as they both studied Animation.
They're keen, tidy, punctual and dedicated to a task at hand.

Kate's creativity allows her to think outside the box. She's a quick learner and always excited to learn something new.

She's compassionate and empathetic, which makes her a wonderful listener. She has a love for animals and a unlimited supply of patience when working with them.
Although she has no farming experience (as of yet), she loves taking care of plants and gardening. She's very interested to learn more about small-scale, sustainable permaculture.

She knows her way around social media very well, and can assist in this regard.

In addition to his animation experience, Hugo's spent 8 years working as a Front of House manager in the hospitality industry and spent hours helping out in restaurant kitchens.
He's also been involved in the audio and music industry for a number of years.

He's quick at learning something new and has some basic experience with power tools, carpentry and gardening.
Hugo's other skills include art, surfing, cycling, countless sports and a handful of musical instruments.

What else ...

They are both working remotely for a very casual and boutique style Animation Studio in Cape Town. They need to put aside a maximum of 6 hours any time of the day or night, Monday to Friday, towards their Animation careers. They'd love a working internet connection and access to any form of desk for this. (:
