Description

We are two friends, currently studying molecular biology and biochemistry at Vilnius University. We are active and love challenges, so this summer we want to get to know new people and their culture, gain new experiences. We love nature very much, so we would be very happy to have the opportunity to spend more time in the mountains or somewhere nearby.

Kamilė - I like to spend time outdoors, for a few years have been helping my grandparents with their outdoors work like gardening, weeding etc... I have also lots of experience with helping stray animals - have been volunteering in animal shelters, for the past 2 years me and my mother have been rescuing and healing stray cats in our home. :)
Neringa - I am a member of the European Scout Federation, I have more than 6 years of experience in leadership, cooperation, teamwork and organizing events (camps, trainings, hikes...) I also have a lot of experience in voluntary activities (scout federation, organizing orienteering competitions, helping in nature and environmental projects ). During the summer, I spend almost all my time in nature (woods, family garden), so I know how to do all the housework, cook, mow lawn, etc. I have two younger brothers and have volunteered in children's camps, so working with children is not a challenge for me.

What else ...

Kamilė - I enjoy climbing, even though I have only tried indoor climbing I am interested in trying it out outdoors. On top of that I love hiking, being outdoors in general.
Neringa - I enjoy orienteering and been doing it for years. I am part of scouts. I am also interested in creative work - like drawing, handicrafts. Moreover I like running, bicycling, hiking, backpacking, etc.
Both of us have been part of traditional Lithuanian dance and singing ensemble so we know a lot about Lithuanian culture and would be open to share it with You :)
