I am a helpful and proactive person who can anticipate tasks and think beyond immediate requirements. I excel at active listening, demonstrate patience, and possess strong empathy—sometimes even a bit too much! Professional Summary:

I initially trained as a metalworker, after which I pursued further education in business administration. Subsequently, I worked as an assistant in housing management and IT.

For the past five years, I have been self-employed as a real estate manager. To balance my administrative responsibilities, I also served as a personal caregiver in an association supporting mentally ill young people excluded from the regular professional system. During the C-pandemic, I had the unique opportunity to lease a heritage farm and reconnect with my passion for animals and nature, skills developed during my childhood spent largely around horses and farm life.

I don't even know where to begin describing the incredible experiences I've had over the past few weeks at this foundation. I decided to go there and help with the event on May 18th completely spontaneously. I didn't speak any Italian! From the moment I arrived in Porto Recanati, I felt welcome. Raffaelo, Ashanti, and Alessia picked me up by car, as it's impossible to reach the area by public transport. First of all, I agree with Sole's statement (workawy feedback from April) a stay of less than eight days doesn't make sense. To understand and immerse yourself in the lifestyle of this group of people, animals, and nature, a month-long stay is necessary, and a longer stay is definitely worth it.After two weeks, I still have no idea about all the activities and projects they engage in. They live a seven-day week, and every day is different! It's a unique lifestyle with a high level of awareness, respect, mindfulness, and space for emotions. They raise dogs, cats, chickens, and cows, practice Tai Chi, cultivate flowers, are spiritual, share homes, make music, socialize, exchange languages, and much more. They also cultivate olive trees for olive oil production and cultivate lavender fields.
Their mission to collect food that supermarkets discard and distribute it to those in need is truly commendable. They prioritize sustainability and compassion, and I appreciated the effort they put into sharing food with both the community and the animals.
During my stay, I experienced a variety of healthy meals. I consumed dairy products in moderation, adhering to the principle of "if there's something, then there's something." The flexibility allowed me to ask for extras, like a late glass of milk or a hot water bottle, and I was always met with kindness and a willingness to help. When I urgently needed to print something to sign for my business, they immediately provided me with a computer and printer and even brought it into the camper. Great support!
What stood out most was the warmth of the people there. Whenever I felt something was missing, whether it was clothing or food, they went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and welcomed. Their efforts made me feel at home during my stay.
Overall, I highly recommend this Workaway experience for anyone willing to embrace its unique lifestyle and values. It’s a heartwarming environment that promotes community and sustainability, and I’m grateful for lesson’s learned.
This group of people (have known each other for 30 years) who have live there, they are like one big familiy and I felt that too. They are spirituell and I would like to describe so: it is an open space for believers. I very appreciated the prays before eating and enjoyed the self creation songs of Alessia. Those moments of praying or singing reminds me, that nothing in this world is for sure given and self evident.
In the camper is no internet connection, just in the house, but Roaming works very good.
I am honored to have been your guest and I wish you all the respect and recognition you deserve.
