  • Description

    Hi there!
I’m Juliana — but you can call me Ju or Juju, like my friends do.
I’m a Brazilian living in Portugal and I’m partially deaf. I use hearing aids, so I communicate well.
I’m new here and super excited to start a new adventure during my vacations!
I’m a multitasker, even if I don’t know how to do something yet, I’m always eager to learn and enjoy the experience. As an art restorer, I love working with my hands and exploring different artisanal techniques.
I can cook, keep a place looking nice, care for pets, and I’m more than ready to try new things like gardening, farming, DIY, and building projects.
I speak intermediate-to-advanced English and would love to keep improving, while also enjoying cultural and social experiences.
The main reason I’m here? To collect unique and beautiful memories that no tourist brochure could ever offer.

  • More details about your skills

I studied History and later Conservation & Restoration, so I love teaching and explaining topics like Art, History, and how to care for objects with sentimental value (I’ve even given workshops on that!). This also means I really enjoy listening to people’s stories, joining in on local events and traditions, reading, and observing the local culture.
I often work in teams, but I’m also proactive when I have more autonomy in what I’m doing. I adapt easily to different situations, I’m a multitasker, and even if I don’t know how to do something, I’m always ready to learn and help.
I love working with my hands, I cook with a “no-waste” mindset (every ingredient deserves a second chance!), and I like keeping a home clean and organized. I even enjoy helping others sort through their things — to either let go of them or find the perfect place for them. I know how to care for pets (and I really love animals!), and I tend to choose natural products whenever I can and if it's possible I made them.
I’m happiest when I’m in touch with nature, so any outdoor activity is a big yes from me. I’m also into yoga, meditation, and alternative therapies. I love board games, planning fun themed meals, and getting together with people to discuss a book we’ve all read or a movie we’ve all watched.
I also know how to do a few beauty treatments like manicures, skin care routines, and eyebrow shaping. And just for fun, I enjoy making birth charts as a hobby.
At the end of the day, I simply love living, connecting with people from different backgrounds, and keeping an open mind about… well, pretty much everything.
