Hello, my name is Kane Alexander, I am 39 years old, born in Nottingham, England. I graduated from the University of Wales, Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) in June 2023 with an MA in ancient religions. I majored within the intersection of psychology and Taoist philosophy.

I taken my undergraduate and masters degrees as a mature student, and took every opportunity available to study around the globe. I have studied in Holland on the Erasmus programme and studied in China twice, once with Peking University at Confucian institute summer school as well as spending a semester in Anhui (China) as a scholarship student.

Whenever not living in university accommodation I have volunteered within Buddhist religious organisations all over England yet, also in Scotland, and Spain. As well a a few Hindu organisations in England and Wales including Hare Krishna.

My most recent work away was in France, functioning as a teaching assistant. I am still open to what I will do when I complete my doctorate. Hence, I am currently using workaway to gain career related skills and experience. As well as travel and enjoyment.

Since, November 2023, I have been studying a PhD with Bangor University of Wales. My doctorate is within the combination of Tibetan Buddhism and the philosophy of Carl Jung.

In my spare time I learn Mandarin and practice Qi gong. Hence I have managed to pull together. Many hobbies and interests of East-Asia together with my university life and work life.

I am a native English speaker. I am currently involved within language buddy exchanges through workaway, to give back language skills for those I have been receiving. Planning more English teaching workaways 2024

Also, I have good computer skills. Good organisational and administration skills. Great research skills and teaching abilities. Great communication skills and interpersonal skills.

Lots of experience in various religious charities as well as schools. Hard working and honest, I always do my best and am willing to learn something new and give it a go.
