I have a college degree in biology with a minor in psychology and am a nationally registered EMT (this is the USA certification for the first responders in ambulances). I grew up in the country so from a young age I had a strong work ethic instilled in me - especially for manual labor. My previous jobs include farm work with various animals, working as a blacksmiths apprentice, a deckhand on a fishing vessel in Alaska, landscaping, teaching assistant for young kids, organizing and setting up events for my university, research assistant studying whale distribution and anthropogenic impacts, a medical assistant/technician and surgery scheduler at a hospital, and most recently a barista in Australia making coffee and smoothies. I really love working with both humans and animals alike. I also have a love for photography and am knowledgeable about post processing. I can take pictures of and do basic setup and advertising/social media work. I’ve worked in jobs that have required me to work in teams, and also in jobs that have required me to be very self sufficient. I’m overall pretty handy and learn fast :)
