Hello there! I am from Ireland and I have a background in writing, theatre, painting, events management and horses. I am excited to learn new skills and experience new ways of living. I love to immerse myself in another culture and another's way of life, for me that is how I truly learn. I am a good worker and I learn quite quickly. I can offer creativity, stories, planning and organising. My practical skills are: painting, DIY (I'm not an expert but I can do a few things! I have done a good bit of set building and decorating for events and theatre), gardening (again not an expert but my mother and grandmother taught me a lot about gardening growing up), I grew up with horses and competed and worked in a trekking centre where we bring tourists across the Irish countryside on horseback. I have a certain knowledge of working with animals and very interested to learn more. I have experience in events management, mostly organising music events. I also set up and ran my own creative art studio where I organised workshops, open mic nights, art exhibitions and poetry readings, it was a creative community space. I am on workaway because I want to experience other ways of living, I want to experience other countries and cultures and I think workaway is the best way to do this. Also I would love to get to know my hosts and people from the local area and share stories and have fun!
