Description
Hi, We are Jet and Daan. We've left our jobs in the hospital and at a graphic design agency in the hopes of engaging more hands-on work and delving deeper into our interests. Such as (vegan) cooking from scratch, engaging in artistic activities, and being in nature. We derive energy from being around open-minded and like-minded individuals, engaging in hard work, and embracing creativity. We are looking forward to picking up new things from others and lending a hand with our skills during this trip.

Daan ─ I've had a mix of work experiences – from spending a couple of summers on farms, to tending bar and waiting tables at a restaurant for 7 years, managing an art space, and working as a graphic designer at both an agency and on my own. I studied Communication and Multimedia Design in Leeuwarden, where I gained proficiency in various software and acquired knowledge essential for animation, print design, web design, logo design, and more.
Jet ─ I have just finished my Bachelor's in Global Responsibility and Leadership, in which I have specialized in human rights and policy. Next to this, I have worked in health care for six years, have experience with cleaning and as a barkeeper/waitress, and have tutored high school students for five years. Additionally, I have experience in working with children ages 0-12 and taking care of animals. Overall, I really enjoy helping people (and animals) in my daily life by making their day a bit brighter, hopefully also through my work here!

What else ...
Daan finds enjoyment in staying active, often partaking in activities such as jogging, hiking, swimming, and cycling. On the other hand, Jet has a strong affection for reading and DIY. Cooking and baking are passions of ours and together we love creating delicious meals to share. We find joy in life's little pleasures and make an effort to expand our knowledge in areas like politics, philosophy, and art. We also play cards a lot ;)
