I love to experience new things and explore new places. I have been traveling around Spain since the end of January and loving the weather and the people and the lifestyle.
I love animals and work as a Veterinary Tech in Canada. I love to read, swim and bike. I don't smoke, not much of a drinker and don't use drugs. I am a calm and quiet person. I also work as an elder companion and lab aid and like to do puzzles and read aloud.

My income earning work is as a small animal vet tech but I have many other interests and hobbies. I worked as a phlebotomist for 12 years. My husband and I have four cats and used to have 200 chickens on our farm. My husband grows ground crops to sell at farmer's markets. I make soap as my artistic hobby. To rest and relax I like to read, listen to audiobooks, sew, assemble puzzles, walk and bike and swim. I enjoy learning new recipes. At my first Workaway placement in Spain I was responsible for some animal care and weeding. My second placement involved exterior painting, housecare and landscaping. The third placement was teaching English to youths and adults in Morocco and my forth placement was helping a mature woman downsize her stuff, cleaning and gardening.
I used to travel a lot in my 20s and early 30s and have awoken the skills needed to be a traveler; self sufficiency, desire to explore and a sense of adventure. I hiked the Camino Ingles which has added a whole layer to my self discovery on the six month travel adventure.
