Hello there! I am Jelena (26) from Germany and have just finished my Bachelor of Science in eventmanagement- and technology. Afterwards I was travelling along the east coast of the United States and from January 25th till March 12th I'm going to explore the Maledives!
I always love to discover new things and places and meet awesome people to hear their stories and sharing moments together. I'm very open-minded, flexibel, spontaneous and love taking on new challenges. I'm always looking for things to do, my glass is always half full and I enjoy making the best out of every situation. ;)
In 2019 I did a Voluntary Ecological Year in the black forest national park and learned a lot about nature, animals and manual work.
I'm working self-employed in the event industry since 3 years, which means good organisation is one of my skills. ;)
Over the past few years, I already travelled to 14 countries in Europe and also to Dubai, Egypt, US and Bahamas. Aditionally, I visit lots of music festivals every year and love camping with friends. :)

I've alreaedy worked a lot in the service in cafes, restaurants, hotels, on the reception in hostels, at cultural events, and in the organization for a big electronic music festival in Germany. I've assisted in the setup and destruction of various festivals.
In the nationalpark I've worked as a ranger and had caretaker duties like lawn moving and repairing stuff.
I'm always ready to learn new things! :)

What else ...

I'm always trying to be environmentally friendly with everything I do, but when it comes to travelling, I cannot abstain from using the plane sometimes because I love travelling so much...
I already did workaway 5 years ago in Greece and Switzerland and it was amazing! (You can see one of my references in my pictures)
