We are an outgoing and friendly couple from London (UK) who are 27 and 28 years old and are looking to explore the beautiful countries of Sri Lanka, Philippines & Indonesia!

We are new to the Workaway site and are really excited to dive into our first experience and contribute to a meaningful project. Our goal in joining Workaway is to find interesting projects where we can meet new people, and get to know communities in which we can contribute our skills to make a genuinely positive impact.

We recently spent some time travelling in South America which helped motivate us to leave our lives in London behind us and go on a Workaway adventure! We have degrees in Linguistics & Economics, extensive experience in charity businesses, and also in the world of hospitality. Here is a little bit more below about each of us:

Zuleika
I am an energetic person who is driven by helping others! I have over 6 years experience working in the charity sector, education and local government, specialising in running programs to support people with learning and physical disabilities into employment, including working on a vocational skills program in Uganda. This experience has made me an independent and motivated worker and am really confident in my ability to take initaitve and throw myself into any project, even in unfamiliar environments. I am lucky enough to have spent time in many countries around the world so am very comfortable living in different cultures and environments, and always excited to explore new places I am an adventurous person who wants to make the most out of every moment…. I enjoy playing football, swimming and is a qualified yoga instructor with teaching experience!

I am an out-going, positive person who is always looking to have fun and meet interesting people. I have worked in London all my life, mainly in jobs related to business & finance which has entailed experiences with business management, project management, digital marketing & social media marketing. Previously I did some work on social initiatives and supporting charities. I really want to work in a beautiful environment with people that make a positive impact and believe in what they do. I like doing basically any fun outdoor activity, especially sports & always always am seeking adventures. I also have extensive experience in hospitality and enjoy working with new people.
