Hi,
I'm a recent masters graduate in philosophy and have been working for a charity in the fleet maintenance and compliance industry for the past year. But I have grown restless and yearn to see more of the world, meet some new people and hopefully learn some new skills before I decide to settle down. As a result, I've decided to take a year out and join the workaway scheme.
I'm a big animal lover and I love working with my hands, I'm also passionate about learning languages but I'm eager to get stuck in with pretty much anything and see what sticks!

Language always bored me at School, recently i began learning on my own time and am really beginning to love it! I am currently dedicating myself to learning Spanish to an intermediate level, but I love exploring all kinds of different languages and the relation they to the cultures that use them. As an Graduate in English Literature and Philosophy, how the structure and rules of language influence its use is a fascinating subject to me, and I'm eager to learn as much as I can about the rules of all different kinds of languages and scripts across the world

I have experience with gardening - both growing food and garden maintenacence. I have helped my father and grandmother look after their Gardens for as long as I can remember, and I also now share an allotment with some friends where we grow summer vegetables and beans mostly. we also have a communal allotment at my current workplace where we grow everything from courgettes and potatoes to mint and pumpkins.
I don't have to much experience working with my hands (other than helping family members assemble ikea furniture!) but crafting skills are something I am eager to learn, especially when it comes to environmental clearing and/or building construction.
