Hello everyone!
Glad, that you found the way to my profile:) my name is Jakob and I'm a 25 year old foreign student from Germany. I studied civil engineering in Dresden, Germany for the last years, but finished in November 23. The next normal step would be to find a job and start working. But I have to admit, that working with nice people to help achive their projects seems much more fun for now. Thats one of the reasons I'm looking for a workaway. The other big reason is, that I want to learn french. I had french lessons in school, but this now a couple years ago and i sadly mislearned most of it. So I would be super happy, if I find someone who has enough patience to help me with my french :))
I would describe myself as a happy and open person. I love to learn about new cultures and especially about their cuisine. But also I'm a guy who likes to get things done. I love to work outside and see the results of the work by the end of the day. Always a satisfying feeling i think :)
My time in France wouldn´t be the first time for me leaving home. In school I made an exchange year in Canada, where I went to school and looked after my stepbrother. After I finished the highschool in Germnay I went travelling for half a year in New Zealand and during my studies in university I went to Norway for half a year for an internship. Therefore I would say I´m used to intigrate to new surroundings and try to get to know everyone and everything as fast as possible :)

Well I worked on diffrent construction sites: Bridge-, Tunnel-, but also normal home construction. Means i would say i know how to use tools and I'm not completly left handed :D also I have a small garden with a friend of mine, where we grow all kind of vegetables for ourself. So also garden work is nothing new for me, but I always say that nobody is fully trained. So there is for sure still a lot to learn!

My hobbies are mainly road biking and photography. But I'm down for any activity outdoors:) whether it is kayaking or hiking or anything else. As long there are cool places to discover I'm in:)
