Description

Hi, I'm Jacopo, a 23-year-old with long curly hair who loves traveling in nature and finding beauty in everything that's out of the ordinary. One of my biggest passions is being outdoors and playing sports in amazing landscapes.

Currently, I'm a forestry student in Italy, but my background is in green building. To support myself through my studies and afford my travels, I've taken on various odd jobs and also worked longer stints in restaurants.

Despite my young age, I've had the chance to travel a lot and live away from home for extended periods. These have been wonderful experiences that inspire me every year to make time for personal growth and self-discovery.

I love meeting new people from all over the world, spending entire nights sharing stories and listening to amazing individuals with whom I share this planet. I hope to come away from this experience with wonderful memories, lessons learned, and maybe even some new friends.

In recent years, I've worked quite a lot in the restaurant and hospitality industry. This was partly out of necessity, but also because I genuinely enjoy it. After attending science-focused schools, I then studied and briefly worked in bio-architecture and green building—areas that really interest me. More recently, I've started a new path: Forestry and Environmental Sciences. I truly believe in this field and hope it will allow me to live and work closely with nature and the outdoors.

Having lived and studied in English-speaking countries, my English is fluent enough to be helpful in teaching roles. I love working closely with people, especially children and the elderly. I'm also fascinated by all things related to small-scale construction and DIY; I once lived in a self-sufficient community in the Azores where I got to try my hand at building and gardening.
