Travelling
Description
Hi I’m Jacob, he/him. I am a New Zealander who has been travelling and working around the world for the last 10 years. I have been lucky enough to live/work in Australia, Central America, Europe (Germany/Spain) and the UK. On my travels I have worked mostly in Metal work and Construction as there is always work 😋. I am a trained designer and have helped in many sustainable human centred community projects throughout my journeys. With a rural upbringing in NZ my farming background and work ethic and love for the land has made me very helpful to those working on growing food and improving the hyper local environment. Can’t wait to meet you and help you with your amazing projects!

More details about your skills
Jacob,
First I think it would be helpful to know that I grew up on a farm in New Zealand. I have also lived and worked on farms in my teen and adult years, this gives me a good knowledge of farm work and lifestyle. Beyond this I studied design for innovation at university and specialised in problem solving through sustainable product design. I would love to try my hand at applying this to your project or simply to see what you have used to solve previous problems. Through one of my previous jobs (Hammer Hand) I have gained proficiency in builders hand and power tools and in yet another (Janitor) learnt how to clean to a hospitality grade and am happy to use these skills too!
Lewatle,
I have had 3 years training in culinary arts and am a qualified apprentice chef and have had five years experience in hospitality. I love working with food, I also worked as a specialty coffee barista for a year in Melbourne. I am a very hands on person and have a strong passion for plants and am able and would love to be involved in anything gardening/plant wise. I have studied fine arts as well as studio arts working with various mediums including sculpture and various paints. After travel I will be studying to become a Herbologist so any tricks of the trade I could pick up along the way would be nothing but helpful I am eager to learn and to help out in any way, shape or form possible.Age
