Description
Hello! I'm currently working as a British Council Language Assistant in Colombia and looking for places to do workaways when the programme finishes this June. I'm a fully qualified secondary Spanish teacher in the UK, and I have 4 years of experience working as a language assistant in Spain, Mexico and Colombia. I would like to continue building up my Spanish and English teaching experiences in fun and diverse new places, meeting new people and learning new things along the way. I love teaching, reading, languages, and sharing knowledge; as well as exploring, hiking, cycling, camping and learning about new places and cultures.

In the UK I am a fully qualified Spanish secondary teacher and I have 4 years of experience as a British Council Language Assistant in Spain, Mexico and Colombia. I have English and Spanish in secondary schools and universities and I also have experience of giving private classes for a variety of ages and levels.
I also have a range of skills beyond teaching, I am well travelled and I have met and worked with people from many places and backgrounds. I have a degree in Spanish and Politics and experience working as a trade union representative which has developed my organisational and people skills. I have also worked on an ecological farm in Italy and done 2 workaways in Spain where I helped maintain small farms and plots of land.
