Hello to the Workaway community! I am a 22 year old solo traveller from Montreal, Canada! :) After completing my bachelors in urban planning, I have decided to travel south east Asia this coming year. This year to me is about connecting, exploring, learning and exchanging with people all around the world. I come from a very multicultural city and have always been curious about different cultures and languages. My main focus this year will be to deepen my knowledge on permaculture and sustainable living.
I think of myself as a very happy, easygoing and open-minded person. I will be so happy to join a community and would love to stay in one place for a couple months to get a sense of home and create strong bonds.
This will be my first workaway experience however I have solo travelled and worked in a cherry-picking as well as a treeplanting camp before, both community-oriented.
I speak French and English fluently and am very interested in language exchange.
Cheers!Interests

My experience treeplanting has taught me to push my limits and have great team spirit. We were sleeping in tents for tree months, carrying heavy bags full of trees that we had to plant as fast as we could in any conditions : rain, snow, hail, wasp nests, etc. This is for me the hardest mental and physical challenge I have ever done and helps me appreciate confort in my day-to-day life.
I also have experience with children as I have worked as a camp counsellor and cross country ski instructor. I absolutely love interacting with kids and think of myself as a playful person.Age
