Who are we?

-Samantha-
I'm 31, from Upstate, NY. I have my Bachelors in Innovation & Entrepreneurship and my MBA in New Venture Management. I enjoy business and have worked as a Senior Operations manager for a Target Distribution Center for 7 years. My true passion lies in traveling, meeting new people and creating new experiences on the outside of my comfort zone. I recently decided to leave my corporate job to get back in touch with nature. I did workaway once when I was younger in Ireland and loved the experience. I am hoping to rediscover my passion for traveling, the outdoors, and new experiences instead of life in a warehouse.

My goal is to learn new life skills, such as farming, gardening, work with animals, sustainability practices and living off grid. I am a hard worker and a fast learner. I am hoping to learn new life skills but would be able to help anyone with their business, budget or financials.

I'm traveling with my best friend who happens to be my fiancé. We are avid hikers, outdoor enthusiasts, personable people who love to laugh at our own jokes. Play us some music and we will sing and dance ... although no promises it will look or sound good. Together we have diverse skill sets that should prove value added to any opportunity.

I'm 32 from Upstate, NY. I have done workaway in the past in Alaska and it was the best experience of my life. I had the pleasure of working on an Oyster farm, tomato farm, hostel and then at Denali National Park. I am a hard worker and enjoy getting my hands dirty. Workaway provided the opportunity to learn different skills and now my fiancé and I are traveling with the goal of experiencing more opportunities like this.
