Hi there!
I currently live in my home county of Cornwall, and have just left my job as a tour guide of the largest captive rainforest of the world. I want to travel the world to gain new skills, make friends and immerse myself in nature!
I love people! I hope to meet new people from different cultures and countries - making connections with others is what life is all about!
I like to think of myself as a jack of all trades, and am always looking for more trades to try!
I am extremely passionate about nature and love hiking, hitchhiking, cycling and diving. I free dive and fish off the Cornish coast, have hiked across the Dolomites and the Balkans and have done numerous cycle tours across France, Belgium and the Netherlands. Most recently I cycled from Oslo to Dunkirk, and I have just returned from Iceland where I worked in Thorsmork to preserve and build new hiking/cycling trails.
I have had multiple job roles which involve chatting to the public, as well as working long hours in hospitality as a bar tender and as an Assistant Chef.
I am open to any opportunities!

I have a masters degree in Biochemistry, with my Msci focusing on making plastic alternatives out of mushroom substrate - I love understanding the environment around me through science.
I have hundreds of hours of public speaking, with tour groups of diverse backgrounds as well as with school groups of young children to mature students.
I helped manage a small surf hire every summer for 5 years, and pride myself on being a friendly and approachable person who is easy to talk to!
I consider myself good with computers, and can use all microsoft office products. I also have some social media training, and have been in several educational videos for The Eden Project - mainly on their Instagram.
I consider myself a good cook, and love cooking to music as a way to relax.
I spend all the time I can abroad, either on cycle tours or on thru hikes carrying all my equipment on me, so I would consider myself physically fit and enjoy working hard - I believe too much comfort is deadly!
I have wilderness first aid and sea survival training.
