Description

English:
I was a consultant environment and sustainable mobility until July 2025, and then took early retirement.
Because I love to travel and am not the type to sit still, Workaway seems perfect for me. I have visited most European countries, as well as Peru, Bolivia, Morocco and Vietnam. I have family in Spain, and I've been visiting regularly since 1966, I speak reasonably good Spanish (i una mica de català).
I have three daughters and two grandchildren, and I adore them all!
My hobbies include DIY projects around the house and garden, painting, making or repairing furniture, architecture, art, and foreign languages.
I am a calm, curious person with a broad general knowledge and am always willing to learn new things.

Fui consultor medio ambiente y movilidad sostenible hasta julio de 2025 y luego me jubilé anticipadamente.
Como me encanta viajar y no soy de los que se quedan quietos, Workaway me parece perfecto. He visitado la mayoría de los países europeos, además de Perú, Bolivia, Marruecos y Vietnam. Tengo familia en España y la visito regularmente desde 1966, Hablo bastante bien español (y una mica de catalá).
Tengo tres hijas y dos nietos, ¡y los adoro a todos!
Mis aficiones incluyen proyectos de bricolaje en casa y el jardín, fabricar o reparar muebles, la arquitectura, el arte y los idiomas extranjeros.
Soy una persona tranquila, curiosa, con amplios conocimientos generales y siempre dispuesta a aprender cosas nuevas.

Until recently, I owned a house built in 1907, where I gained a lot of DIY experience: woodworking, painting, tiling, and some plumbing.
I also regularly make or repair furniture and enjoy working in my garden.
Español:
Hasta hace poco, tenía una casa construida en 1907, donde adquirí mucha experiencia en bricolaje: carpintería, pintura, alicatado y algo de fontanería.
También fabrico o reparo muebles con regularidad y disfruto trabajando en mi jardín.
