  • Description

Hi everyone! We're Giulia and Filippo – or maybe we should say Giulia, Filippo, Black, and Flipper – because we love to travel with our two furry companions!
Don't worry, though – they're the sweetest, most innocent creatures you’ll ever meet. They’re both small Lagotto-mix dogs, they don’t shed, and they’re super well-behaved and used to traveling. Together, they weigh just about 23 kg and are never a hassle.

We’re all passionate about nature, the four of us feel truly at peace when we’re surrounded by it. We deeply love animals, which is why we’re vegetarian, transitioning to fully vegan lifestyle, although we still cherish the happy, REAL free-range eggs from my grandma’s chickens.

Our dream is to settle down in the countryside, where my dad and I are already running a family farm. We mainly grow tomatoes for Cirio, durum wheat and soybeans.
In the future, we hope to create a place where we can live in harmony with many animals – without species discrimination – and open our home to school groups and families, sharing our love for animals and the natural world with others.
We’re also interested in sustainable building and plan to renovate old farmhouses using eco-friendly methods. We hope to learn more about bio-architecture and gain hands-on experience.

But before all of that, we’d love to travel together with our so-called “patatini” – Black and Flipper – and hopefully discover places where different animals live together in harmony.
We’re eager to learn from people who share their lives with animals, and to gain knowledge, inspiration, and love that will help us shape our own future project.

  • More details about your skills

Filippo, 25, has just completed his Master's degree in Technologies for the Ecological Transition in Agriculture.
He also has hands-on experience in farming, having worked for several years alongside his father in the family-run agricultural business on a 45-hectare farm.
Additionally, during the summer season, he works as an expert assessor for weather-related crop damage – so he’s no stranger to the practical and technical sides of agriculture.

Giulia, 27, worked for several years in retail before realizing her path was taking her elsewhere. She then spent a year as a personal assistant for children and teenagers with disabilities, and more recently, she’s been working as an early childhood educator in a nursery school, where she’s responsible for a group of 2 to 3-year-olds.
Over time, she has discovered a deep passion for outdoor education – especially when animals are involved. She is currently completing her Bachelor’s degree in Education and Primary Teaching and has recently finished a two-year certification program in Pet Therapy with dogs, alongside her faithful companion, Black.

And that brings us to the special skills of our furry teammates!

Black, Giulia’s loyal buddy for almost 8 years, successfully completed the two-year Pet Therapy course with her. He is incredibly gentle – both with people and other animals – and is always happy to receive cuddles from anyone who offers.
Flipper, on the other hand, is a bit more reserved, but he’s gaining confidence every day. He’s 4 years old and he's with us since march 2025. He may be a little goofy at times, but he’s a true sweetheart. Honestly, you’ll hardly notice he’s around – and just like Black, he wouldn’t hurt a fly.

They are both small-to-medium sized (around 11–12 kg), easy to manage, and a big bonus: being Lagotto Romagnolo mixes with curly coats, they don’t shed.

We’ve also been living together in a small apartment for almost two years now, so we know what it means to take care of a home, share responsibilities, and create a warm, welcoming environment.
We also love cooking and experimenting in the kitchen – especially with vegan dishes. We enjoy eating a bit of everything and we’re always happy to learn (or share) new recipes wherever we go.

Filippo also spent nearly four years living with roommates in Brescia, while completing his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees – so he’s well-versed in co-living and community life.

As for languages, we’re both native Italian speakers and would love to learn new ones as we travel.
Filippo speaks English quite well (he holds a C1 certificate), while Giulia is eager to improve her English and take on new challenges – she currently holds a B1 level.
We’re also open to brushing up our French and Spanish – we studied them in middle school, and since they’re quite close to Italian, we could probably pick them up again quickly.
