I am a swimm teacher and windsurf instructor, got my swimm licence in Australia too! I do love spend my time with kids cause they are not other than themselves, no filters!

I wish I could choose more than 5 stars for rating the time I’ve spent with Marco and the girls...indescribable, it was great! and absolutely beyond any expectations!
I am very surprised to read such a nice description about me, it really seems like you’ve truly deduce myself better than my inner self ever has! This is me! Funny to read it from… read more you after ONLY 3 weeks! ;)
I thought that 20 days would be plenty of time, but I can swear it was too short period for being there...I was really sad to leave, but I know I am not too faraway to pop in Menzonio again to say “Hello, I am back!!!” Or maybe spending other time in the wood with Marco who is the most patient and persevering person I ever met!

That is the kind of place I could spend the rest of my life! Not joking!
Surrounded by beautiful mountains and lakes to explore, nice little trails, cute typical houses called “Rustici”, (Marco has got many to renew!) a river for a cool swim in the warm summer afternoons after work, lots of good vibes during the days and last but not least both serenity and good chats in good company with Marco, Monica and someone else...

thanks to Marco I have learned a lot of things...
We carried a string trimmer up in the mountains, me and the smartest american girl I met, Chloe, it was tough but Marco usually keeps silence during the hike and he doesn’t push yourself he prefers let you handling with your pace, no pressure at all, in the time you struggle with the hill he peacefully enjoys the nature...Ahahah
it’s really good to get to improve some new skills, but as he said I also like challenging eh eh! :)

I could spend hours explaining about his kindness and generosity... but it’s better you go directly to try it in person!!
The food he took us was super good, often the homemade cheese and he even cooked for us a Zuppa Inglese Dessert!
Every time a Workawayer leaves Marco tries his best to celebrate it with dinners or a tour around the places... you won’t believe how many things I astonishingly discovered about the Ticino culture, History, historical and natural spots, food and agriculture...

A special thanks for the last couple of lines you wrote Marco...
you are a role model for me, your perseverance is something rare but above all I am glad I met your personality...a very openhearted person full of altruism and this is not common nowadays!

I promise I will be around sooner or later!!
