Hello! My name is François, I'm 27 years old, and I grew up on a farm in France, surrounded by animals (black pigs, sheep, dogs, cats — and also horses). I’m not an expert rider, but I do have some basic experience with horses from my childhood. Growing up in this environment gave me a love for hands-on work and a strong connection to nature.
I'm currently studying management control, but I remain very attached to practical skills — for example, I built and set up my own yurt, and I’m comfortable with basic carpentry, DIY, and gardening.
Curious and sociable, I also practice improv theatre and love learning new things, whether it’s a language, a recipe, or a different way of life.
I'm on Workaway to improve my spoken English by immersing myself in local culture, living and working with people who enjoy sharing. I can help with animal care, farm or garden maintenance, small repairs, or daily household tasks. I’ve also done some pet sitting in the past and enjoy taking care of animals.
I'm a non-smoker, hold both car and motorcycle licenses, and I’m available from early August 2025 for about 3 weeks, ideally in an English-speaking country (UK, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand, Australia…). I’m happy to wake up early and adapt easily.
