Hi! I’m Francesco, I come from Palermo (Sicily), now living in Padova for my studies. I have always been curious, positive, and always ready to try something new. I love meeting people from different cultures. I'm a deep lover of the sea, nature and adventure. I'm a polite, easy-going and tidy person, who likes making new friends, cooking and swimming. I see Workaway as the perfect way to connect, learn, grow and get my hands a little dirty along the way, especially on my summer break

I moved from Palermo in the 2021 to persue my passion, which is becoming a Biomedical Engineering and I achived it last year. During these years that I've lived far away from my home town I have learnt more about me and new skills, sush as reparing a bike and managing a house.

Cooking and swimming are my biggest passions. I love spending time cooking something for myself or other people like my family. I am a lover about all types of cusines and I never shy away whe I have to try a new dish. I discovered swimming 4 years ago and I felt in love with it, over these year it has allowed to make new friends, overcome my limitations and find a sense of peace and well-being.

When I visit a new country or city, I like learning about its history, exploring the city centre, admiring the monuments, museums and getting to know the culture of the place I am visiting.

Before I fully dive into my last studies year, I'm looking for a Workaway experience that will allow me to learn, grow, and get my hands a little dirty along the way, especially on my summer break

Bike reparing:
I've been cycling by bike every day since 2021, so I have had to repair my bike myself several times. I can help you repair your bike or build a new one.

Housekeeping:
I have always done housechores, so can help you keep home and spaces clean and tidy

Cooking:
I really love cooking and discovering new cuisine. I can show you how you can make a delicious dishes with really few ingredients

Farm work:
Both my grandparents had farms, so I helped them with farm work from an early age. I can help with watering, planting and harvesting fruit.

DIY skills:
I have always been curious to learn new DIY skills. I have no problem using tools and learning how to use them. In the past, I have used basic tools, but I am willing to use new tools as long as you show me how to use them (I learn quickly how to use them).
