Hi there,

My name is Floor, 27 years old and I am from The Netherlands. I have a heart for adventure; I’ve always found joy in travelling, experiencing different cultures, spending time in nature hiking and, admittedly, my attempts at mastering surfing. Nature has always been my sanctuary, and despite my urban upbringing, I’ve never felt that the city life aligns with the kind of fulfilling life I envision for myself. Which is why my goal for the upcoming year (2025/2026) to live in different places all over the world, immersing myself in local nurturing communities surrounded by the beauty of nature.

My background in hospitality (Hotel Management School) has equipped me with the skills to create memorable guest experiences, foster connections, and manage operations effectively. I derive satisfaction from interpersonal relations, organizing, and seeing creative ideas come to life. I have work experience as a relations manager at Make-A-Wish Netherlands, where we helped fulfill the wishes of children with serious or life-threatening illnesses. While I truly enjoy making a difference through my work, I find myself craving a more hands-on role where I can step out of the 9-to-5 routine and embrace an active, dynamic lifestyle. Being immersed in nature and contributing directly to a community is exactly what I aspire to do. I love to be creative, like painting, writing, pottery and much more.
