Description
I‘m a PhD student in sociology. Although my usual habitat is the library, I love to be outdoors biking, swimming or kayaking. I‘m into all kinds of culture, literature, music as well as into cooking.
I like my time off to be adventurous and hotels or restaurants bore me out. Hitchhiking or sleeping outdoors is more my type.
I’d describe myself as rather calm and thoughtful, but very curious and open to new experiences. I am reliable and conscientious with the things I approach.
I’m new to Workaway but did a lot of Couchsurfing back in the days and still have many good memories of that time. Now I’m keen on meeting people and learning new things especially in the Scandinavian north.Interests

More details about your skills
Apart from writing texts about texts I’m good at:
- Cooking: I am part of a local kitchen collective and very used to preparing meals for 100 people or more
- Practical things like building a kitchen, cutting shelves or doing the plumbing of a washing machine. My grandfather was a carpenter and I learned a lot from him. I also once worked at small construction site in Italy and did jobs at assembly lines.
- Cleaning and housekeeping as skills go without saying for me, I live alone and am very independent
- Working, discussing and deciding in teams, as I’ve been part of many other student groups
- Photography and graphic design
- Orientation and practical thinking about logistics, weather and eqipment
- Gardening and taking care of the plants I have
I'm eager to deepen these and take on new skills like animal care, languages and bigger building projectsAge
