Hi, my name is Federica and I come from Italy, but I have been living in Cairo (Egypt) for the past 4 years.
I'm an introvert but really easy-going with people, I enjoy deep conversations and meaningful connections, and I love talking about different cultures as well as personal, emotional and spiritual development.
I do pole dance and kitesurfing but I'm at the very beginner level in both, I enjoy them a lot though. I can also dance salsa, bachata and kizomba.

I decided to embark in the journey of WorkAway because I'd like to try a different kind of travel experience. I'm in search of knowledge, sharing, exchange among people and I think that WorkAway is perfect for this.

I was a Project Manager in a non-profit organization. Now I'm ready to embark in new journeys and I'm currently studying digital marketing.

"I started to travel to escape life. Now I travel to embrace life". This sentence explains my relationship with travels. The first time I decided to move to another country (Turkey) for a few months as a student, I did it to "escape" from a personal difficult situation. I'm glad all the days of my life that I did it because, not only the personal situation was solved, but I discovered the beauty of embracing life through travels. Since then, I did many student and work experiences abroad, and waiting for more.

I'm currently studying social media marketing.
Other skills are strictly related to project management and data analysis.
I am then an expert in taking care of cats as I share my life with my sweet Robin (a ginger cat, he will stay in my home, he will not travel with me with Workaway) and I watched more YouTube videos about cat care than Id' like to admit haha.
I can use Canva to create beautiful and engaging visual content (so if you need posters, flyers, Facebook posts, etc.) I'll be happy to help you.
I can cook some Italian meals for you (although I must say that I need a recipe to follow haha).

I love to try anything that is new, so a new hike, a new path walk, a new landscape will make me happy. I also believe that "happiness is real only when shared" (from Into the Wild movie), that's why the component of sharing in WorkAway is so inspiring to me.
