Hi!

We’re Juliette and Fanny, two 24-year-old friends from Paris. We met three years ago while studying at university, and since then we’ve shared the same desire: to discover the world in a different way, through real encounters, cultural exchanges, and hands-on experiences.

Juliette: I have a background in tourism, communication, and event management, but what I truly love is being out in the field, doing practical things and meeting people. I enjoy days that are never the same — going from the garden to the kitchen, welcoming travelers, or helping to organize a small event, that’s what makes me happy! I’ve also taken care of young children (ages 2 to 6) and really enjoy spending time with them — they bring so much joy and energy. On the side, I’m passionate about photography and creating content; I love capturing everyday moments and sharing them on social media. Thanks to my studies, I’ve also had the opportunity to build websites and help develop brands, which allowed me to combine creativity, curiosity, and attention to detail.

Fanny: I’ve just finished my previous job to fully embrace this new adventure. I wanted to take a step back, break out of routine, and discover new horizons while being useful. Like Juliette, I’m motivated, dynamic, and spontaneous. Together, we’re always eager to learn, help out, and adapt to the needs of the people who welcome us.

We chose Central America because we’re drawn to its incredible nature, rich culture, and the warmth of its people. What we’re looking for is to live a truly immersive experience : to share the daily life of a family or community, discover local traditions, and take part in meaningful projects.

We love simple, welcoming, and authentic places. We’re ready to give our time, energy, and good vibes to contribute to your project, whatever it may be.

Thanks to our backgrounds and professional experiences, we’ve developed a wide range of skills ; both in communication and in everyday practical tasks.

Communication & Media:
We both studied communication, marketing, and event management. We know how to manage social media, create visual content (photos, stories, videos), and engage with online communities. We also have basic experience in website creation (WordPress, Wix) and content writing. Whether it’s to showcase a place, tell a story, or promote an activity, we can help you increase your visibility.

Event Management:
We have experience in organizing and coordinating events, both professional and social (B2B and B2C): welcoming guests, logistics, entertainment… We enjoy creating warm and friendly atmospheres and are quick to adapt to any situation.

Hospitality & Daily Life:
We’ve both worked in hospitality and tourism, which has helped us develop a strong sense of service, attention to detail, and care for the spaces we work in. We’re comfortable handling cleaning, preparing rooms or spaces, welcoming visitors, and helping to keep an accommodation running smoothly.

Manual Work:
We’re hands-on and always willing to help with small DIY projects or simple tasks like painting, organizing, or decorating. We learn fast and love contributing in a tangible way to maintaining or improving a place.

Cooking & Community Life:
We love cooking, discovering new recipes, and taking part in shared meals. We’re comfortable preparing simple dishes, helping in the kitchen, or doing grocery shopping and we truly enjoy those friendly, communal moments.

What else ...

We’re big fans of board games, especially the kind that bring people together around a table with lots of laughter and good vibes! We often play President, Kem’s, and all the classic games you can play with a simple deck of cards (and we’re always up for learning new local games too 😄).

Our all-time favorites: Skyjo, 6 qui prend, Time’s Up, Dobble, Uno, Jungle Speed, Codenames, and Werewolf! So yes — we can definitely bring some fun and energy to a family or volunteers’ game night.

Outside of games, we love hiking, photography, music, cooking, or just chatting and connecting over a good coffee or meal.

We really enjoy simple, relaxed environments where everyone can just be themselves. It’s in those kinds of settings that we feel most at ease, give our best, and truly enjoy the human experience we’re looking for through Workaway.
