Hello! My name is Evie and I am so excited to start exploring the world, learn about and connect with diverse cultures and hopefully make a positive impact along the way. I believe that travelling can teach so much and I am really looking forward to the possibility of gaining new skills and experience through Workaway.

I am an adventurous and open-minded person with a deep love for travel, personal growth, mindfulness and making long-lasting and meaningful memories and friendships. I am fortunate enough to have already explored some parts of the world and have loved every second of my time. I enjoy meeting new people and socialising but I also value my alone time curled up in a corner with a good book or my sketchpad.

During my time studding for my A-levels (History, Sociology and English) and to date I have worked in customer facing roles under one employer, waitressing, catering and bartending. I have really enjoyed my time and it has helped me to navigate successfully working as part of a team and also in leadership roles where I had to manage ordering and stock responsibilities.

I have also done a number of private pet/house sitting on top of this which I really enjoyed as I love animals, taking care of them and also learning more about them where I can. I often partake in many physical activities such as cycling, running and hiking, I love being outside and I think that doing these things are some of the best ways to explore new places.
