Hi! I'm Erica :)

I was born in Italy but grew up in Switzerland, where I’ve just finished high school in a bilingual (Italian-German) program. Now, before continuing my studies, I’ve decided to take a year off to travel, explore new cultures, and enrich my personal journey through meaningful, hands-on experiences.

I’m a curious, open-minded person who loves to step out of her comfort zone. I enjoy learning new things, meeting people from all over the world, and contributing with enthusiasm to the projects that welcome me. I speak Italian, some German, and I’d love to improve my English. I’m flexible and always willing to adapt to the needs of the place I’m in.

I’m especially interested in nature, local cultures, and authentic exchange experiences. I can’t wait to start this new adventure with a positive spirit and a strong desire to learn!

I’ve always been an active and curious person, with a wide range of passions and experiences. Sport has always been a big part of my life — I currently practice paragliding, which gives me a deep sense of freedom and helps me connect even more with nature and the beauty of the outdoors. For over ten years, I also trained in circus arts, especially aerial acrobatics, which I absolutely loved.

I grew up surrounded by animals on my father's farm, where we have goats, sheep, donkeys, chickens, and cats. This environment taught me to care for animals and gave me a strong connection to rural life and the rhythms of nature. I enjoy spending time outdoors, going for hikes, exploring new places, and simply being in contact with the natural world.

Creativity is another big part of who I am. I love painting, reading, crafting small pieces of jewelry, building things, acting, singing, and playing music. I’m always open to learning new forms of art or improving the ones I already enjoy — I love discovering new ways to express myself.

I would describe myself as flexible, cheerful, and open-minded. I spent three years living away from home during high school, coming back only on weekends. During that time, I shared accommodation with other students, which taught me how to live well with others, respect shared spaces, and communicate openly — all skills I’m really grateful for.

During the summer holidays, I worked at horse stables where I learned to ride, and I also worked as a children's entertainer, organizing games and outdoor activities. Over the years, I’ve taken on different jobs to become more financially independent: I’ve worked as an instructor in an adventure park for the past three years, and occasionally as a waitress in a restaurant. These experiences not only gave me practical skills, but also helped me become comfortable adapting to different work environments and connecting with a variety of people and teams.

In everything I do, I try to bring positive energy, curiosity, and a willingness to help and learn. I’m really looking forward to this new chapter and the opportunities it will bring!

I adapt easily, enjoy working both independently and in a team, and always try to bring good energy to the people around me. I'm curious, creative, and genuinely motivated to help wherever I can — and I'm really excited to see where this adventure will take me!

I love the idea of growing through exchange — learning new things from others and offering what I can in return.
