Description

We are Emmanuelle (French) and Steve (New Zealander), a couple travelling to Australia from March for around 12 months. We are hands-on, reliable, and adaptable, and enjoy contributing to practical projects while experiencing everyday life.

We are non-smokers, comfortable with pets and livestock, fit and active, and happy with outdoor and manual work. We are social and flexible, while also independent and respectful of house rules, and able to work without close supervision.

We are particularly interested in family homes, eco or sustainability projects, farms, and renovation or building stays.

Steve has a background in engineering and building, with experience in renovations, metalwork, machinery operation, and general fabrication and repair. He grew up on a farm and is comfortable with practical problem-solving, tools, and working independently. He also has experience teaching and explaining technical tasks clearly.

Emmanuelle has experience in horticulture and viticulture, as well as food processing, hospitality, cleaning, and property maintenance. She is comfortable with outdoor physical work, repetitive tasks, and fast-paced environments, and takes pride in keeping spaces clean, organised, and running smoothly.
